Ken Holmes

CertiKit’s Managing Director and founder, Ken Holmes CISSP, CIPP/E, has helped to consult, implement, operate and audit ISO certifications over a varied 30-year career in the Information Technology industry. His experience is within government, retail, outsourcing, hosting, manufacturing, banking, and telecoms.

Ken has an Honours degree in Data Processing and Management from the University of Leeds and has achieved further professional qualifications during his successful career, including ISO/IEC 27001 Lead Auditor, AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, ITIL Expert, PRINCE2 Practitioner and ISO/IEC 20000 Auditor and Consultant. He is an active member of ISACA and a BSI-published author on IT service management.

Ken is the lead author of the toolkits and is continually striving to improve the products.

Ken is also creative in other ways, he has been known to “throw a pot” and has produced some most interesting clay pieces; there are just a few in existence and if you are the proud owner of one of Ken’s pottery creations, be sure to treasure it!
