To keep in line with international tax laws, CertiKit monitors purchases and VAT by country. The correct VAT amount for your purchase will be updated once you enter your organisation’s registered address at checkout. See below the VAT rules for each country.
UK: VAT will be charged at 20% on all purchases. A VAT number is not required but can be entered.
EU: All countries in the EU will be charged the VAT rate of the country unless a valid VAT number for cross-border transactions issued by the European Commission is entered. Enter the VAT number with no spaces and wait for the system to verify to remove the VAT amount.
United States, Guernsey, Jersey, Gibraltar, South Africa, New Zealand, Hong Kong, Indonesia and Cayman Islands: VAT will not be charged once your registered business address is entered. A VAT number is not required but can be entered.
Australia, Canada, Iceland, Norway, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Switzerland, United Arab Emirates, India, Israel, Ghana, Nigeria, Brazil, Serbia, Curaçao, Mexico, Japan, Bahrain, Argentina, Chile and Thailand: A valid VAT/GST number (or your countries equivalent) must be entered to purchase, and VAT will not be charged.
